Opened up after a few hours in the glass, revealing notes of black raspberry, black cherry, and baking spice. Hints of black olive emerge, and medium acidity keeps it feeling fresh.

Some jammy Blackberry and Ribena like aromas on the nose, and nice redfruits right on the palate with a medium finish. I liked the spice and fresh finish, which pairs well with heavy dishes.
44% Grenache, 36% Mataro, 8% Counoise, 6% Carignan and 6% Shiraz, which lends itself to some spicy notes and a wee bit more complexity. Pretty masterful winemaking at such a modest price point.
Superb value once again, 2nd if two entry Torbrecks over the weekend; Below USD 20, for a Rhone inspired "bistro wine"!

Austalia Trade Tasting (Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Halls): a touch warm, elegant, finesse, fruit forward, easy palate, could even be served slighly chilled
