Tasted blind. Med lemon color. Pronounced aromas of orange marmalade, honey, fresh and dried mango, pineapple, smoke, flint, ripe/candied lemon. Dry, sharp, high acidity, medium body, medium alcohol, long finish. Will age. Shocked by the price, given how good this wine is. Rieslings from other regions have been some of the best QPR wines in the sub-$20 range for me, but I’m adding Austria to the list. Stylistically pretty ripe and aromatic, while keeping its signature piercing acidity. Really tasty stuff. 93+

Pale juice Med- aromas of fresh "green" tropical fruits such as peach, apricot, green-apple, lime hint, flinty, mineral. Youthful. Dry, high acidity, med abv, light body, med length finish, med complexity, med- flavors intensity consistent with the aromas. Can drink now or age further.

21st Canberra International Riesling Challenge (Albert Hall, Canberra): Lime, lime pith & peel, a little green notes here as well as some slaty minerality. On the palate it's sourly juicy and, again, presents as a touch unripe. Lacks generosity. Nah.
