Peach Farm. Lovely lemon. Just off dry, with plenty of acidity. The bottle describes the wine as savory and salty, and it had more of a salty character than I've experienced in a non fortified wine before. I don't think I'd have identified it as Chenin, without lanolin, but it was very good. Likely would evolve well for a few years, but drinks nicely now.

Fun wine. Nose is a salty sea breeze as the Winemaker notes describe. Palate brings salted green apple, peppery lemon rind and grapefruit lead to a chalky tart finish.
There's some great wine making ideas here, but the grapes don't seem particularly generous. I'm quite curious how this tastes in other years, but it appears this was a one off.

Probably the roundest Desire Lines white I've had with just enough acidity; held up well over 3-4 nights. Came in with mid expectations from the other chenin blancs I've had and this one overperformed.

Nose of kelp and seaweed with a bit of lemon. Lemon leads the palate showing both sweet and sour characteristics, adding a savory seaside breeze. Turns tart on the finish, adding grapefruit, lemon pith. and lingering minerals.

I see a lot of salty-savory in the comments, and they're not wrong. This was the perfect pairing with bacalao fritters. What a wine! Rich and crispy all at once. Bright and bristling, and no, it's not about fruit, but that's not the point! Pair accordingly.
