{screwcap, 12.8%} Pale straw. Mostly grassy aromas. It’s fermented in oak puncheons and aged on lees but it’s hardly overt on the palate, with that just fleshing out the palate with some heft and hint of skin character. Mildly flavoured, but with a hint of gunship grey to it. Always a sense of grapefruit though, but without being overly tart. Light/medium weight, with an even, medium length finish. Might keep interestingly for a few more years, not that the back label makes any such promises.
