  • Wow - I was blown away by this juice! Allowed 4+ hours to breath and it was the consensus and run-away WOTN. Went well with multiple courses and on it's own. Still seems young, given its age...so assume this has plenty of life left. Agree with all of yonster24's descriptors below (full bodied, complex, leather, earth, olives, cherries, etc.) but want to especially highlight the nose. What a nose! As complex and intriguing a nose as I've ever encountered with a Cali Cab. At the price I paid, this was an absolute steal and I'll be ordering more...

  • Yum! Wife and I love Marco Di Guilio and this is absolutely no exception. Very dark Ruby color to it, all the way to the rim, showing NO signs of ageing. Nose of cinnamon, black olives, oak, black cherrries, leather and earth. Very complex and a joy to smell. Full bodied wine. Tasty and juicy. The oak is just starting to settle in and should be fully integrated within the next few years. This all leads to a long finish with just the right amount of tannins and acid to balance everything out. I don't know how Marco flies under the radar as much as he does with these fantastic wines.
