Most would assume this wine is over the hill but it shows really well. Lots of red fruit to offer along with some dust, mushroom, and other tertiary character.

Hazy plum/garnet, well defined orange corona, can still see your hand through the glass. The nose is cherry cobbler, vanilla, eucalyptus, violets, dusty/earthy. The palate is stewed black cherries, vanilla cola, oak. sweet tannins, medium acidity, and a medium (+) finish. Great bottle, hated to see it go.

This wine was more fruity than a typical Pinot. Like cherry cola initially with good body and more acidity in the mid palette. Nice finish with more cherries and some earth/minerals coming through. Paired well with lamb sausage and chicken with cherries and pecan sausage.

Properly cellared. An amazing example of why Anderson Valley is one of the best Pinot producing regions in California. The fruit is deep and smoky, rich on the palette and finishes long with lots of cherries. This is just a base entry offering from Breggo and it's this good, imagine what their higher level stuff is like? VERY GOOD.

(Breggo Pinot Noir Anderson Valley) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-obvious Pomegranate; loads of cherries; bark & sticks; little New World; TASTE-a perfect fruit bomb; they really nailed it; so rich & so big; a fruit bomb w/ great balance; very polished; great mid-palate; gorgeous Red Twizzlers dancing all around; an absolute Home Run; better than many $70-$80 cult CA Pinots; RP-90; GV-92+
