  A deep dark red in the glass with a hint of a purple ring indicating it's youth. On the nose there are blue berries and blackberries with a bit of a floral note On the palate it's velvety texture shows a fruit forward flavor with a touch of chocolate. Medium body with a medium to long finish....sadly this will be the last year for this vineyard as Realm has sold it. Probably a sin to be drinking this so early but we have a couple more for the coming years and I'm not getting any younger, so what the heck? Will be curious to see how this ages

  Decanted 6 hours. Perfume on the nose. Pleasantly fruity without being jammy. Strawberries and bit of forest floor. Nicely put together. Great with bourguignon sauce.

  Another Realm winner. I am not as familiar with the vineyard source, but when the offer came out a few months ago I gladly picked up 3 bottles given some of the pricier offerings in the Realm portfolio. This is classic Benoit - lush, ripe red cherry fruit, smooth velvety tannins. 95 all day. I gave this ~4 hour decant and paired with homemade pizza. This did very well on its own and with food. I think a nice NY strip would be a good accompaniment as well. Those holding a few bottles, no shame in opening one now with a few hours of air.
