Classique merlot l'Okanagan, beaux fruits rouges et noirs, cerise noire, belle longueur, tannins ronds, notes de vanille. Très agréable mais le rapport qualité-prix semblait mieux dans les dernières années.

This wine is great and is drinking really good. A pretty light and subtle wine. Natural cork. Ruby with a slight garnet tinge in the glass. Herbal nose. Light red fruit flavours.

Another Black Sage bench British Columbia wine: On nose: faint Valrhona chocolate, and dark sun ripened berries. On palate:above flavours enhanced, in addition to pipe tobacco, sage, ripe red plum, faint cassis, displayed on a lightly tannic medium bodied backbone , distinctly New World, but with a civilized reading of 13.5 % alcohol... Fairly forward, easy drinking after a 1 hour decant.
Low intensity nose of sour cherry, leather, oak and raspberry.
Initial sips were tart cranberry, intense leather, and oak. As this opened up, it got slightly earthy. Medium bodied, with medium acidity and subtle tannins. Light, sour finish.
I have had a few BC wines over the past few months, and this was quite enjoyable.

PnD let air for 1hr.
Consistent with previous note. Still sleek but with some added flesh and integration. Beautiful fruit with herbal notes. Love the balance.
