WTSO and Costco wines while hiking in Arizona (Superstition Mountains and Sedona): Sweet and oaky, jammy fruit, no acid. I shudder to think how this drank when it was younger. I got this to go with red sauce pasta and it completely did not work. This wine seems geared towards fans of Apothic, if you are not one I suggest you avoid. I'm not scoring this because I don't want to be rude.

Ruby. Smoked candied apples. Lithe on the palate softened by the merlot. Menthol and mint on the finish bringing me back the Newports that I used to puff on. Most comparable bottles would be at twice this price point. A very good value.

Deep youthful ruby color. Nose has loads of dry cherry, rose petal, and chocolate. Plush silky mouth feel and tannins, medium plus body, with primarily dried red cherry and prune fruit with vanilla, and some spice, leather, and milk chocolate.
Comes off as a bit sweet, and very international in style. Easy drinking for sure, but a bit over ripe and raisined. Certainly decent for the price. Reminds me of a ripe Cali Zinfandel.

A bit jammy, but nice. Not terribly complex but enjoyable. Good qpr at this price.
