Amazing!! A big bold Pinot. Cherry, strawberry, woodsy bramble, graphite. Smooth with low acidity and tannins that will let this age for years. Finishes very long. Let this age.

Consistent with prior notes, but more deep, dark and brooding black fruit this time. Also some kind of earthy, smoky, leathery, funky thing going on too. Well balanced with good acidity. Dense, concentrated and extracted. As others have mentioned, needs a lot of air to open up.
That funky leathery note is weird. Maybe an off bottle?

Initially tried after a PnP. Did not go well...very thin with a musty taste at the end. Wondered if it was corked. Decided to let it sit for a day and try again. Glad I waited as the result was much better. Pronounced fruits (mostly red) and that familiar smooth Pinot finish. Went well with the vegetable and cheese tray I had with it.
From now on, I will try to remember to give this some kind of air time before enjoying.

John and Diane Bucher’s fruit combine with Jeff Mangahas’ winemaking to create a masterpiece.
