Festival of Phil (Phil's place, Putney, Sydney): From Coravin. Medium minus intensity aromas of a little wood glue, biscuit, red over blackberry, a little reticent/closed. Sourly, juicy, savoury, quite chalky tannins fruit plays second fiddle to the structure. This showed far better the last time I tried this. Hmm.

From Coravin. On the nose a cornucopia of pretty dark berried fruit takes precedence underpinned by sweet spice and earthy notes. In the mouth it's quite light and lithe with plenty of textured grip, the fruit a little more reticent and savoury. Hmm, interesting.

Coravin fun - Burgundy selection, Talbot bracket and supper wine (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. black fruits, earthy spices, a little plum, cream, toast. Juicy, a little sour underpin to the plummy black fruit, chalky tannins, fruit persists, nice.
