7 years is not too long for this wine to age; still beautiful fruit, primarily red fruits; nice acidity; beautiful balance. Got plenty of legs to go longer

Even more muddled and indistinguishable than a bottle from two years ago. On the nose, cherry liqueur, with pine needles and loads of creamy oak. Palate is cherry and cream soda. Very hot finish. Blah.

I must say I was suprised. Generally prefering Oregon to California Pinots, this lived up to the billing of the Sonoma Coast. Integrated cherries and delicate tanins. Really quite nice.

88 might be a bit generous, but after 20 minutes, this was a very nice last wine of the night. Nothing distinctive, but perfectly proportioned. Plenty of fruit and structure left on a wine that wasn't built for cellaring 4 years.
