Vivid, almost neon yellow-green. Overwhelming kerosene (TDN) with a secondary sweet limeade level on the nose. Intense sweet limeade notes with a strong kerosene finish; the kerosene faded a bit with air. Remarkable, albeit a bit one-dimensional. Great acids to match the sweetness.

The first surprise was that this was under a screwcap! This had no obvious effect on the wine as it was stunningly delicious, got better with air on the first night was better on the next day. A lot of exotic fruit here (pineapple, mango), TBA type sweetness, but the acidity is there to carry the day and the wine while delicious with dessert, worked great with the pork chops as well. Impressive wine, which might be around in a hundred years with no risk of bad cork...

Dinner at Oscillate Wildly (Oscillate Wildly, Sydney): Pear, grapefruit, spice and peach aromas. Lovely balance, it has really good acidity behind it and as a result the sweetness doesn't at all stand out. This grew the longer it was in the glass. Super good stuff.

Initially tried to convince myself I could enjoy it, but it was too far past its prime, or flawed. I believe the former though.

Gorgeous, petrol and lychee, peach. Palate is rich and unctuous, medium to low acidity, great sugar and ripeness, good finish. Great
