This should continue to improve in following years. It was pleasant on day one but really starts to sing on day two. It is well integrated with fine tannins that linger for a few seconds.

Settled down a lot since my last bottle. Still quite primary with lots of fruit, but starting to show some secondary/tertiary flavors. Blackberry, cassis fruit, black tea, olive, tobacco and oak, ending with vanilla and mocha. These are only improving, so no rush to drink. Enjoy now - 2029+.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over three days. Best on Day 3. It’s been a couple of years since my first note and unfortunately, I noticed this is my last bottle. At this stage, the Founder’s Reserve 3 is much more enjoyable on the pop and pour than it was back in 2021. However, it remains fairly primary; redolent of blue and black fruits and purple flowers accompanied by baking spices and minerals. Everything seems to be integrating quite nicely with a couple or years in the cellar under its belt. Those who have been able to exercise patience are getting rewarded. Drink now through 2029 with ease.
