  I wanted to give this a 96 because it’s just so so damn fine for a sub 100$ Cabernet but it came after a Colgin so it dropped a bit.
  
  Dark red to purple hue. 3 hour decant and it kept getting better. Plush blackberry fruit, dark plums, vanilla wafers, tobacco, violets, melted black licorice, dark chocolate with hints of mint. Lively acidity with ripe tannins on long finish.

  Decanted for 3 hours and drank with dinner. Big balck fruit and lavender aromas with graphit, some spice and licorice. Opened up beautifully with black cherry, plum and grippy tannins with a 20-second mineral-laced blackberry finish.

  Decanted in a restaurant for lunch. Purple color. Lots of melted black licorice, violets, lavender, earth, dust, rocks with toasted dark fruit. Big tannins softened with air time. Nice bright acidity with a long finish. Cheers!

  Drank beside a '18 Kamen. Both were equally as good. I have always liked Herold's winemaking style.

  Eruption of dark berry fruit aromas, dark purple to magenta color. Cork stained purple fingers, lips and tongue. Hints of mint, dusty terroir, vanilla, minerals and earth. Good lifting acidity, ripe tannins on long finish.
