Definitely too young, but thought it worth a try BTG. Sulphurous reduction at first, that parted to reveal a stern, densely-fruited and primary wine, full of tropical fruit. Structured and serious, but still playful and easy to drink - I'm sure this will be tremendous in 15 years' time.

Pale lemon colour. Medium (+) and developing nose with clay, flint, peach, petroleum, lime and wet stone. Pronounced taste of peach, honey melon, pineapple, flint, honey, lime and wet stone. Long and sweet finish. High acidity. Medium body. An outstanding Riesling Spätlese. Drink now or over the next 50 years. Goes well with cheeses, desserts or meditation.
