Dark color and closer to opaque than transparent. Big fruit and spice but very extracted texture. Strangely, didn't note that about prior bottle opened in '21.

Drank most of the bottle over one night and tried the rest the following night. Pale ruby in color. The nose is predominantly red cherry, with some other red fruits present. Tertiary notes of predominantly cola with some spice, with a hint of oakiness. Taste: mainly red fruits and cola. Medium acidity with light tannins present on the mid palate. Finish isn’t terribly long, between 10-15 seconds. Overall not terribly complex, but a decent regional wine. May be drinking fine after 2024, but not for too long after. I plan to finish by the end of the year. Most of the aromas and flavors were present on the second day.

A bit grapy and "cough syrupy". Light on the palate with not a lot of distinctive Burgundian character. One can do much better in Oregon or New Zealand for $20...

A standard Pinot. Easy drinking but nondescript. Perfectly fine.

Very average and a bit thin. Minimal complexity, but nothing offensive either.
