Not for the faint of heart, this weighs in at 15.3% ABV and hits like it but doesn't carry the heat on the palate. Nose is concentrated cherry and the palate follows; you know there is some extraction here but the intense notes of cherry, strawberry, and plum make you forget. This is a really big Pinot and delicious. I adore Martinelli for their Zins, but their Pinot Noirs are also really excellent. Not quite the deft hand of KB, but the intensity makes up for it.
