This is evolving nicely. Citrus butter, a hint of lime with the merest hint of vanilla oak with nicely balanced acidity ( no sense of tartness) keeping this wine fresh. There is light to medium body and a clean finish. Very drinkable. It will be interesting if the suggestion on the back label to cellar it for up to ten years works.

Tart citrus and green apple vie with sweeter peach, pineapple, and melon. There's some green mango. But there is also cream and yogurt and toast. Breakfast fruits meet a well-torched creme brûlée. And it works. It works in part because of the sheer concentration of the flavours, backed up with a stunningly high acidity. The yeasts were wild and so is this wine. I love it.

Wine Selectors 50 Best Tasting (12 Micron Restaurant, Barangaroo): Struck match married to ripe stone fruit, a little butter, sweet spice and a touch of toasted oak. On the palate more of the same with slightly over-adjusted acidity. Meh.
