One of the best rose's I've ever had. Flambee'd blood orange, marzipan, heriloom tomato water and skins. Pecans and almonds and a spicy dill'y finish from the oak. Just fantastic. The color is gorgeous too.

Color is copper. On the nose: Strawberry, minerals, stone fruits. On the palate: Sherry like , almonds, strawberry, minerals , peach apricot and apple, rose and dry tannins. This is excellent. I don’t drink Rose often and really wanted to try some Iberian Rose’s. This was recommended by my wine store go to guy. Really good.

Served at about 55F. Minerally and dry with rose petal fruit, a tiny bit of orange rind and the light sherryish note typical of so many LdHs--more so than a stunning 2008 opened about two years ago. A good bottle, but not a great one.

Bitter cherries, orange peel, oxidized notes, plenty of herbs, sound local feel, good acidity; excentric wine, certainly a food wine.

Love love love this wine. So unique. So mercurial. So intriguing. Brings me contemplative joy.
