The best thing we could find at a Kroger in Bloomington. So let’s just acknowledge that this isn’t a great set-up to start with. In any case, this was on sale for $25 down from $35 (allegedly). For the price, I’m sure this was superior to our other choices — but not something I’d probably go for again. Maybe a year or two would help it, but if you’re buying a Cab to cellar it for a couple of years, this isn’t the one you’d choose anyway, right?

So not a terrible wine... But something went wrong.. I don't know.. the year?? For the price I feel like I am driving a 12$ Ravenswood Shiraz! Way too sont... no tannins no grip no bite all fruit... absolutely no ageing potential... feels cheaply made... for the masses.

Was able to enjoy this at a wine tasting. I was very impressed with the offering. It has a really deep and dark berry start. The feel was of silky and it’s was very rich. It finished with a punch of berry and a little leather.

Faux cork. Deep purple, vanilla on the nose. Medium sweet, ripe fruit entry with some depth. Correct acid and tannic balance marred by slightly bitter follow thru. A decent wine. To my taste a manufactured wine assembled to avoid offense. Don't know if it is the taste of wood chips, intrusive chemical acid and tannin, or lack of character.
