  Oh yeah. This is a very nice merlot. After 30 minutes of air, the wine really sings. The nose is full of candied cherry, which would lead me to believe this is a relatively young merlot or Napa cab...but it isn't. That's what's so cool about it. The taste is rich cherry and candy corn with a backdrop of tobacco, graphite, and cigars. The finish is not all that long, but it's really bold and unique...smoky and sweet at the same time. This wine could age another 5-10 years and not skip a beat, but is also great now.
