Brought to T-Macs for WW fall release dinner with friends. This was the consensus favorite. Dynamic, lots structure, red and blue fruits, with a Cab Franc dominated long finish.

Decanted about 2 hours and paired with a grilled grass-fed Wagyu NY steak, corn-on-the-cob, and baked potato. What an excellent pairing for this wine! Hugely structured with ample tannin and acid to cut the well-marbled steak. Great fruit, showing cassis and black cherry, with coffee, tobacco and earth showing at the back. Will continue to improve with additional age and drink well through it's 20th birthday, of not longer. Drink now - 2035.
