Drank over 2 days. I recommend drinking it closer to room temp. A good alt white to have on hand. Hard for me to pin down specific fruits or nuttiness associated with this varietal. Just a pleasant drink. Had I known this would be so good I would have ordered more. Drink soon though.

I was confused with the 3 Ridge Adelaida whites I had in my cellar and sorta opened this randomly. I guess I should have checked my CT cellar inventory first huh? Anyway I thought this may go good with a curry dish my wife made. Round and deep with a bit of a heavy mouthfeel. It drank okay over two days. I think my palate needs a reset though as nothing seems to taste good now. Last bottle of this I had 6 months ago was mediocre as well. I’ll try to give my last 2 bottles until next year before I liquidate them.

I figured this was ready for a trial run. Opened on NYE. It is hard for me to dial in a Roussanne profile. Quince, high toned pear, slate, minerals? It tasted like a Roussanne. Bright gold in color and light to medium bodied. On night two it changed a lot. The Roussanne-ness had faded. Much finer and not as bright, toned down. I’d give this 3 more years max, I may do another in the summer.

Friday Group Brown Bag Tasting (Eagle Brook CC): Every bit as good as the bottle opened last month. Floral notes give way to orchard fruit. Deft oak frames orchard fruit, spice and jasmine flavors. 92+ pts.

This note follows my previous notes. I definitely think it is time to drink up. Quite pleasant.
