  • Mid straw. Initially relatively restrained on the nose, some cut apple, an hint of peach and a little cream. Relatively broad and generous attack, the 100% Meunier, vintage and 8g/l combining to a sense of easy plumpness. Nice cut apple and lemon on the finish. With air this shapes up nicely, tightening and showing more line, the finish more of a lemon sherbert. There’s quite a lot here. Annoyingly dumpy, clear glass bottle with orangey brown cellophane wrap. Pretty label though. Bare ****

Nice on the nose and with a pleasant palate showing red apples and tutti frutti before opening up with butter on the finish.
