Really delicious. Still improving. Great fruit but not overwhelming. Rich med + body, nice bouquet, melded tannins, clean acidity and a good finish. Have two more bottles I will try to age a few more year if I can. Drinking well now. May have slighted it a point 95?

For an old world palate this is rich, syrupy and devoid of acidity. There is some big oak influence which melds nicely with the rich fruit tending to more of a strawberry compot style which is the lasting impression on the palate. Tastes like a hot vintage but then again 2018 is supposed to be a cooler weather pattern. No tannins whatsoever so easy and supple to drink - perhaps better drink up quick...
Nose of bright red fruit, blood orange and rosemary. Tastes of black raspberry, tart cherry, blood orange with accents of tea and fall leaves. Good finish. Medium+ acidity. Fine, persistent tannins. Addendum: after bottle open for 2 hours, the fruit seemed darker and riper.

Drank at winery, less fruit forward and more earthy flavors, one of my favorite JP Pinots
