I think that after the RRV pinots, the Sta. Rita Hills are Siduri's best and this single vineyard is significantly better than the AVA bottling. Medium dark ruby, still quite young. A coastal PN with fresh bright dark cherry, clove, thyme and tea aromas. Great balance, noticeable tannins and a medium plus acidity coming into play on the not-so-complex, extended finish.

With time, the wine has settled down. Pnp and ready to go. Black cherry, spice, clove , spice aromas. Layer of flavor with black cherry, pepper, spice, herbs. Medium to full bodied for a pinot noir. Smooth finish.

45 minute decant. Dark cherry fruit, significant acid and tannin backbone, medium body (heavier than average for a pinot), and a good finish. Continued to improve during dinner.

PnP. Very aromatic with black cherry, spice, clove almost a menthol? layer of flavor with black cherry, pepper, spice, herbs. Medium to full bodied for a pinot noir. Flirts with over extraction, but pulls back at the brink. Smooth finish. Needs time for the pieces to fit together better.
