  • Charming and interesting on the nose. Florals are a little muted, concealed and you have some peach skin aromatics as well. Integrated without any intrusive alcohol or soapiness I sometimes get with the variety

  • Verve and texture! Viognier with verve and flavor? Enveloping nose of peach, vanilla, and light flowers. Consumed quickly out of a Zalto Bordeaux glass. No apparent alcohol on the nose or palate. Matched well with pesto salmon served with squid ink pasta lightly drowned in Alfredo. A great mouthfeel, not oily like most Condrieus I’ve had. Acid kept this wine balanced. Still struck by the balance and texture of this wine. Amazing and pleasant finish that includes the peach with an additional pineapple note. This winery is now on my must try everything they make list. Someone finally doing something a little different with Washington juice! In a great way!!!

  • Decanted 2 hrs as pre Travis A’s rec. Served with a crab cake / golden beet / avocado / and toasted almond salad, this was a home run paring. All heads turned quickly at the table to see what we were drinking, as the paring was seamless. As to the wine itself, pretty much seamless as well, agree with others citing a strong tangerine trait, very clear, focused with terrific mineral thrust. More acid that I usually see with Viognier, and the finish pushed a fantastic blast of ginger to round things out. Loved this.

  • Just a delightful viogner. Aromatically round but none of the lavender or soapy notes I sometimes associate with that variety. Instead, the palate shows good freshness and tension. It has such a beautiful, clean delivery and very minimal perceptible sweetness. Ripe pear and Gin-like herbal notes with fullness in the midpalate. Excellent balance of the components. Impressive wine and a worthy value proposition in the hierarchy of this grape.

I’ll also mention separate from the wine that Mario offers friendly, personal and prompt customer service and is a pleasure to interact with
