{screwcap, 13.5%} Vanilla, spice, white pepper sort of nose. And palate too, although there's fruit, certainly. Semi-mature. Quite savoury palate, medium weight, medium acidity, even palate, fairly low key. A touch rustic though. Beguiling sort of wine, drinking nicely now and for a few years. I rechecked the back label - 10% cinsault - there's the rustic!

{screwcap, 13.5%} Still quite crimson in colour. Polished and restrained nose; spicy red fruit, like berries on the turn, subtle sandalwood oak. A very refined nose. There’s plenty of fruit here, but it has the typical Mount Mary refinement about it. Ripe, not baked, with some exotic notes from the 10% cinsault, I guess. Medium/full bodied, with balancing acidity and medium powdery tannins, subtle oak, and a drying finish of some seriousness. This blend is always drinkable at nearly any age, but this might just reward more time. Hardly seems five years old. Classy wine. Keep, I think.
