Opened and poured....bottle number 2475 of 3170. I like how the early KBs had numbering like this. Pours thin and glyceric.....nearly clear pink at the rim to light red. Floral nose and glycerin wrapped bruised strawberries, sweet rhubarb/cranberry, pomegranate, and toasted barrel notes. Decent but overpriced.

Tomlee nailed it. Outside of the color, this wine is youthful and fruit forward with a hint of brown sugar. Paired with corned beef and it worked well.

Light red in color. 15.3% ABV. Red fruits, flowers, grapefruit, cola and minerals on the nose. Delicate and ethereal compared to other '05 KB's with just the right amount of acidity. The palate is alive with flavors of strawberry, cranberry, brown sugar and rhubarb. There is not the slightest bit of heat on the wine. At 8 years of age this wine has aged absolutely beautifully. What a treat!
