I have found many syrah require 6 years of age before starting to show their potential and require 8 to 10 years before peaking. Syncline usually takes a while. I will open my first bottle in 2023.

An odd mix of flavor that evolved continually. Palatable on day 2. Not so much on day 1. The prior tasting note is spot on. Not worth $45. Maybe $25. Might be the vintage.

Nose: strawberry, blueberry, floral (lilac), Ruby color, med+ concentration, viscous. Palate: stewed red fruity (like a fruited syrup one might put on pancakes), plum, off dry, med- tannins, round texture, a little crème brulee.
