Nose: wild berries, citrus, green apple, red fruits, cherry, bell pepper, honey Notes: disgorged 2021. Single plot and single variety from CB has always been an art for me. A beautiful red fruit aroma with an outstanding cherry like aftertaste makes this a complex and beautiful drink. Still quite young right now and should gracefully age for the next 15 years. Generally speaking I have not been disappointed with his wines and the quality has always been quite good. Drink: 2028+ Rating: 92

This, a tale of two Ursules, is barely drinkable. It’s sour-ish, really hard to swallow! Bottle was not finished. I’ve gotten to where I’m hesitant to purchase or open Bouchard. Like Selosse and Marguet, there is no telling what is going to be in the bottle!

This was an Ursules in a great spot! It’s about mineral and fruit, lots of not too sweet citrus, in a bristling, shining kind of way! Lively and powerful, but not weighty at all, a perfect supper on a cool afternoon.

Not too lean, showing decently well right now, lots of lemon/pear/green apple fruit. Quite big and rich in style, expected more leanness but this was great.

This is not representative unfortunately. Bouquet is good but acidic and hollow mid palate.
