Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking. Nose of briar patch, black berries and black cherries. Flavors of marionberries, raspberries and cherries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.

Very nice pinot. Black/blue fruits with a nice clean spice-cola background. Good, fully integrated acid balance. The nose was a spicy, berry- slight citrus mix. This could get better over the next few years.

Still a bit jumbled (can we wait any longer for the last bottle?) but what's not to like? Tastes like a remarkable copy of (seriously here) the cherry juice that we drank an hour ago, but with all of those extra wine things: some tannin along side of the darker tastes in the wide mouth, some sharp notes in the nice nose, and some serious structure in the serious length.
Try the last bottle in, oh, 2017, just for grins. Don't cheat here.

Really lovely aromatics on this wine — ripe strawberries, crushed raspberries, and a hint of rhubarb. Surprisingly youthful and lively, with tons of mixed wild berry fruit on its very lithe palate. The rather sharp acidity does stick out, however, and mars the finish. SS didn't think the wine paired that well with the food (Italian), and I have to agree, but the wine on its own was quite good.
