Dark plum mixed with spice, tar and earth. There is a layer of red fruit mixed with the plum and a bit of eucalyptus just to add to the mix. The dark earthy basis of this wine carries through to the long spicy finish. This is an exceptional QED.

Popped and poured. Dark purple in the glass. Palate shows great balance with ripe, velvety tannins, juicy acidity, and a medium + finish. Notes of cassis and black cherries. Drinking wonderfully now but will improve with age.

WOW WOW WOW! This is one of the best QPR wines I've ever encountered.
90 minutes in a decanter. Gorgeous dark purple color--yet not opaque. No rim variation. Medium body. M+ acid, M to M+ tannins that are velvety, not harsh.
Still youthful, yet perfectly balanced with notes of fresh violet, ripe blackberry, ripe cassis, black cherry and an earthy undertone of dried sage and autumn leaves. Hints of mocha appear in the late finish. While it's drinking exceptionally well for it's age right now, this wine will age for another 5-15 years.

A lovely, very pure cabernet franc in a ripe yet not sweet style, very balanced, showing cassis and hints of lilac, delicious sweet/tart palate.

A Taste of Washington Wines w/Rasa focus (Our apt): Very young and I think would benefit from a few more years in bottle. It's a bit tight. Darker in style and nature. Finer tannin. Good wine.
