Light yellow color. Still young, needs air to open up. Great purity of fruit, good precision, medium bodied. Gains weight with air. 5+ years years left, easily. With Hasse and CG at Caves Madeleine.

The rustic beauty of Chassagne-Montrachet! Straw color, nose of tar, apples, lemon - pure and precise with no oak. Zippy acidity, elegant notes of green apple and lemon, spice, key lime pie. Medium long ending with a touch of oaky vanilla to give it depth and intensity. A very well made wine - and a testament to Pilot who can make village wines that taste better than some 1er Crus! Excellent .

My third bottle of this - it’s good rather than great - really perhaps it’s has opened up a bit more so it’s not nuts pear juice. But frankly I want a bit more “oomph” in a chassage-Montrachet -

Great acidity. Richer than I expected. Long finish. Should still hold for a few years.
