Got to taste with compliments of the host in a virtual wine tasting with Allora owners (delightful folks). This is a big step up in quality and price from their Treana cab. It is made with Clone 15 grapes. This borders on great for me but just missing some intensity and depth to get there for me. That said, it is a gorgeous wine with beautiful mouthfeel and ample body. The dark red fruit is a pure beam of flavor. There are layers of subtle oak (spice, chocolate, vanilla) and earth. Really nicely balanced and smooth right through the finish. Fans of cabs like Jamie, Tesorina, Cimarossa and aged O'Shaugnessy will dig this.
