In surprisingly decent shape given its 28 years of age; at its freshest with a few hours of air in the bottle. Tart, honeyed, salted, appley/peachy orchard fruit-lemon; nice silky texture offset by plenty of acidity; general aged character, without overt oxidization or any other significant flaw that one might expect. Overall, fairly straightforward but enjoyable; this seems to have aged gracefully.
(Note: I created a new listing for this because this one clearly indicates Alexander Valley on the label)
