Short tasting note today. Wine is a lovely crimson color. Baking spice, cherries, hint of menthol, and forest floor on nose. On palate, lovely body, clean finish, good acid.
Could age or drink now. The best of the Failla wines I have had.

Popped, decanted, and poured. Wine a little cool at initial tasting.
Nice clear crimson. Quite bright.
Very aromatic wine. Nose of cherries, strawberry, some forest floor earthiness, the tiniest amount of funkiness, menthol, stem, hint of reduction,
On palate - wine is sound. Medium acid, medium tannin, medium-light body, long finish, doesn't feel very hot. Really nice acidity. Beautiful fruit on the palate - not sweet or stewed but properly cooked.
Gorgeous wine. Would love to try this with a few years of bottle age. Think I’ll keep buying and make sure that happens.

Seductive. Playful red fruit, silky mid-palette and a firm finish. A real achievement.

Seductively delicious now, but 3 to 5 years from full bloom. Bing cherry purée depth of flavor with plenty of room to grow.
