Looks and smells like it is a CS-dominant Brdx blend. Cassis, black licorice, and some mint right off the bat. Lots of fresh cherries and black cherry flavors on the palate, with milk chocolate toward the finish. Medium acidity and medium- tannins. Quite delicious, but not sure how long this will last in the cellar, given its soft structure. I'm also sensing that this bottle will evolve as it sits open in the decanter.

It has been 2 years since my previous bottle of this Garagiste label and the time has been kind to it. I left my score the same, but this is a bargain and NOT a cheap wine. I brought this to an "under $20" wine night at a Turkish restaurant for my wine group and we all enjoyed it.

Generic bottle and generic and cheap cork. Wine is anything but. Nicely intense nose with black cherry and blackberry, maybe a hint of currant. On the palate, quite sweet initially, but with firm tannins and nice balancing acidity. Overall this is a very nicely balanced wine. Juicy and long with sweet cherry and blackberry fruit, dry smooth tannins, very nice length. Would guess this is a Cab/Merlot blend with heavy merlot. This is very nicely made and for the price fantastic. Would be great to know after the fact where these came from.
