Mixed Fights on 21 April 2018 (Big Wine Freaks Moscow): 94/100
Clean and powerful, untamed and totally lacking shyness, with clay, paint and a lacquered wardrobe. Deep, but not heavy.
Once you know it’s Merlot 2006 by Slovenia’s Čotar winery, you notice quite a few striking similarities to equally outstanding Merlot 2005 by Radikon winery located just across the border.
This has stamina for another decade, easily. I’m very impressed and getting half a case for my cellar.
