Cornas white! Can't call it Cornas because it's white, but it's Cornas. Very complex. It went through pineapple to a straw spice. The spice is what is really endearing. Excellent texture of silk. If you like white, buy this up for it's a bargain.
The more I drink of this, the more I like. It's incredibly elegant. The texture is just perfectly silky. It's subtle, it's luxurious, there's a spicey bite, I don't think Vionier can get any better. Under $25? Yep, the white value.

Very nice nose, bouquet of yellow and stone fruits, honey, slight floral, it's better in the mouth, long finish with tastes of brioche. It is high in alcohol though... oof

Clear medium light yellow. Toasty melon, apple, old furniture and pot pourri . The Viognier is pretty apparent here. Rich pineapple and sweet melon flavours and a ripe but still dry finish.
A very nice wine if you like Viognier.

Perfumed, soapy, floral aroma that is really in your face. No sweetness though and never cloying. On the contrary, on the palate, there is a lot of good freshness and it's very balanced and really easy to drink.

A week in the Northern Rhone; 12/7/2018-12/15/2018 (Lyon, Vienne, Ampuis, Chavanay, Hermitage, Cornas, St. Joseph, Condrieu & Paris): Tasted at the domaine. The grapes here are all grown on a Northern exposure in Cornas. 2/3 Viognier and 1/3 Roussane. I really liked this blend - very pretty aromatics - perfumed summer flowers. Tastes of apricot, white peach but with minerality on the finish and a spine of acid. Mouthfeel was weighty and silky. Vincent said these will age nicely for up to 10 years. Have never seen in the US so we grabbed a bottle to add to the cellar.
