Opened and sipped slowly over a few hours. The nose is fruit leading to a palate of dark cherry, plums, a hint of sweet pipe tobacco and spices. The finish was moderate in length.

Took 15 mins for wine to open up. At first a blast of flavor with almost licorice notes, then mellowed into a densely flavored wine with define tannins. If a blind tasting would have guessed Tuscan versus Rhône. Notes of leather, cherry and cardamom. Very enjoyable. Seems a steal at the price.

Spectacular. Deep aroma with some funk, nice medium glossy color, full body, well balanced, perfect amount of acidity with integrated tannins. Wonderful fruit flavor that lingers. Seems youthful and yet mature at the same time. Such a pleasure to drink.

This was so exuberant in its youth but now it is so stately, I would not have guessed it's the same wine. Blackberry, plum, sandalwood, garrigue, graphite, Asian five spice. Opened from magnum. After two hours of air the aromatics of the sandalwood were really singing. Delicious!

We opened when we invited friends for a meal, so I don’t have detailed notes on this. Decanted for an hour. I was pleasantly surprised how bold it was as I was expecting it to be lighter, given the high percentage of Grenache. The Mourvèdre really showed up on the palate with grippy yet well integrated tannins. Dark fruits and well balanced acidity with a long finish.
