Clean with bubbly, abrupt powdery essence of fruit minerality which subdues the tastebuds. Very well made but lacking pinot noir character, mid palate concentration and complexity. This style will appeal to tasters who appreciate ultra elegance, hints of dry, dry fruit, ghostly yeast.

Blancs de Noirs Champagnes can sometimes be a bit clunky and blowsy to my tastes. Not this one. This is a finely-etched, extremely well-balanced and classy wine in all respects. Impressive.

Color: medium gold Nose: autolytic with yeast and biscuits. Anise and coconut. Lemon and strawberry compote Palate: excellent high acidity with a fine mousse and perlage. Very good confirmation of the nose, with this snazzy anise strawberry combo that really works, custard notes and minerals Finish: medium
Super Enjoyable and what qpr. Gosset has a way to use a lot of dosage and make wines that are still endearing. This one is an xb and still works well. These gosset folks are worth their salt

Beautiful champagne offering strawberry, orchard fruit, almond and brioche notes. The musky nose draws you in, and then the palate is deep, layered and complex. Outstanding mineral and toasty brioche notes support a core of rich complex fruit. Loved this.

Annandale Cellars Christmas Tasting (Annandale Cellars, Annandale): Medium minus intensity aromas show slight cherry, honey, very slight bready notes, leesy. Medium plus intensity acidity, juicy, slightly honeyed note, citrus and cherry, lightweight mousse, slight mid palate texture, nice.
