As soon as the cork was pulled, a huge waft of Cabernet fruit hit my nose. Brick red color, showing this grape juice’s age. Big nose filled with Cabernet, black cherries, and a hint of cocoa. The fruit continues forward on the attack, with the cocoa becoming more pronounced during the evolution. Velvety tannins, well integrated, coat the mouth. An extended finish, during which the subtleties of the fruit emerge. Probably close to its peak, but should drink nicely for another 3 to 5 years.

decanted for 1 hour. Could have used more. Incredible nose. Ripe dark fruit. Great balance. Tannins were soft. Lengthy finish. Really nice. Approaching its drinking window. 3-5 years to go.

A great cab. Well put together and true to the region and variety. Paired with an excellent sous vide NY strip steak, which really brought some delicious balance and long developed finish. The steak was seasoned simply but aggressively and the wine really stood up.

Drink really nice right now. Fruit forward, soft & velvety tannins. Wish I had more than one bottle left.
