Wow! Second and final bottle tonight enjoyed at Flemings. This is Pinot Noir done wonderfully. Similar notes as 5 years ago just more settled in. Loved it!

First of three bottles. Agree with other posters who said this was sulfuric on opening. This got better and better over three days, though. By day three, I couldn't keep my hands off of it. I will wait another 2-3 years for the next bottle. Delicious stuff for those with patience.

Prior bottle was only 4 months ago, but it showed so well, I couldn't resist and was well rewarded. Bright red cherry, red berries and earth notes on a very aromatically pretty nose. Medium bodied and almost all redfruit notes, very similar to my prior bottle. Red cherry and red berries upfront, darker red cherry with just a touch of black cherry through the middle, acidity, fine grained tannins, tart red berries, earth and lingering minerals through the finish. What sets this wine apart is it's balance. The acidity and tannins mesh with the fruit so well, it brings out nuances and helps the fruit feel well defined, but still beautifully open. While this wine certainly has time ahead of it, it's drinking so impressively now that I'd recommend drinking over the next year so as not to miss this impressive peak.

Popped and poured. Nice funky nose of mushroom and forest floor. Surprised how good this was along side a pepperoni & mushroom pizza.
