Pale ruby, bit of tawny on the rim, transparent in the glass.
Nose: Dusty cherry and plum with a hit of sage leaf and eucalyptus, and just a fait bit of brett? Wafting projection.
Mouth: Tart cherry folds in on itself to quickly become a midpalate of eucalyptus, mint, and sage. Crisp acid ushers in a finish of dusty earth.
Overall: Light and easy, but is it supposed to be? A Cote du Rhone blend would usually seek after a bit more heft. This ends up being very basic, even in spite of a typically good producer. 64% Grenache, 18% Syrah, 18% Mourvedre.

Lots of eucalyptus on the nose. And some crunchy black fruit on the palate. What is another word for crunchy? Crackling.
