Pale gold color. Developing, med aromas of vanilla, pear, flint, kumquat, green apple, almond. Med(+) body, high acidity, dry, long finish. Has some grippy texture and is more balanced and richer (and better) than younger 2020. Very enjoyable now but likely to age well next 5 years.

Last bottle of a case. Wanted to see how it aged, because we were not thrilled with the aging of the regular Grgich Chardonnay. The Miljenko ages better. Certainly it mellows, but in a good way. We will make sure to save some of our new Miljenko vintages for further aging.

Always a very reliable bottle to serve. Brought to London and drank at same time with a Puligny Montrachet that, in London, was equivalently priced to the Grgich in California. Both were very good, but I preferred the Miljenko Chardonnay. It had a cleaner more focused taste with a bit less oak.

Ripe apricot and full body but lite oak. Everyone really liked it. Served with crab cakes.
