Nose: Dark cherries, dark plums, honeysuckle, nice kiss of volatile acidity. Palate: A bit thin with sharp tart raspberries, sandy tannins, anise, and creamy metal. On day two, this wine had a total transformation. VA on the nose blew off to reveal pink cotton candy. Palate had a nice vanilla cedar, sweet flower streak along with graphite and minimal fruit, sandy tannins held strong. I would've given this around an 87-88 on day one, but on day two was more of a 90-91. My advice (for what it's worth) would be to hold or decant for a while at this stage in its life.

My previous note still stands. Natural cork. This is a pretty good Bordeaux, not amazing. Decent balance, silky tannins are nearly integrated, good fruit, long mineral and tobacco finish. I would say that this is in its drinking window. I'm sure it could go longer, it still tastes like a young bordeaux, I'm just not sure if I'll like it more however. 1.5 years on since the last time I tried it and I wasn't wowed. It improved in the glass.

Quite Pauillac in character with classic notes of ripe black fruits, graphite minerals and a hint of roasted nuts. Drinking well already with some air and the texture is smooth and even creamy. The finish shows a nice licorice flavor with some tannins still to resolve and they are a bit astringent to me. A nice Bordeaux and a bit unfair to compare it to the best of the commune.

Intense minerality with blackberries, clove and black pepper on the nose. Palate is penetrating with black fruits, earthy spices and dried herbs on a medium-bodied mid-palate. Transition to a deep and clean finish is uneven. Need some breathing for the elements to open up. Let this age for another 2-3 years for better harmonisation.

God balanse, typisk rød Bordeaux, fortsatt litt ung og kantete. Bør ha 3-5 flere år i kjelleren
