Found this in the back of my wine storage unit. I’m normally a firm believer that Rosé should be drunk while it’s “fresh” aka no more than a year or two old. But this bottle may change my outlook. Largely agree with Morten Andersen’s review from May, with the exception that I did not get any hints of petroleum on the nose or palate. Darker color than more recent releases, and a beautifully long finish. Would gladly drink this all summer!

Petroleum! Clear nose of petroleum at first - then ripe - but stil fresh fruit. Rich flavor of tropcal fruit lasting long. a bit spice on the palate. Enjoyed to barbecued chicken. Lovely.

Retail $25. "Primarily Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Carignan, Rolle." This is the last bottle of 2016 that we have and this seems to be even better than the last two. Subtle red fruit and quite floral on the nose, this is delightful on the palate with plenty of that subtle fruit, a distinct tartness, and an elegant minerality. Excellent. thedrunkencyclist.com

Perhaps a bit more muted on the nose and on the palate, but this is still fantastic and otherwise consistent notes. thedrunkencyclist.com
