This wine is hard not to like: a light and refreshing Gruner that has plenty of character and costs $25. Light yellow in color, light in body, nose of lemon rind and ocean air. Tastes of grapefruit, lime, and quartz, with a pleasant layer of spiny acidity that softens, a bit, with air. 13.4% alcohol. It's a lovely wine for the money. Drink in next year or two.

Whew, all butter scotch and weirdness. So round and doesn't taste like Gruner at all anymore.

Chose this wine as "the white" to accompany grilled Ahi tuna with asian seasonings and was very pleased with the pairing. Served well chilled.
